      • The following violations were still outstanding October 15, 2024:Facility specific written procedures were not available for:o cleansing of skin or mucous membraneso client care in the event of an accidental skin cut or punctureComplete AHS templates in email.
    • 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
      • The following previously cited violation was observed again October 18, 2024. Used nail files and buffers were observed at the manicure stations. Nail files and buffers are single use only.
    • 15. Is reusable equipment handled and stored properly (Critical)?
      • Reprocessed, clean tweezers and other clean tools were being stored in a dirty cup in the back storage room. Ensure all tools are being stored in a way that protects it from contamination.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The following previously cited violation was observed again October 18, 2024. Preempt CS20 high level disinfectant was not being tested daily with test strips and results not logged. See email for test strip info and log sheet template.
    • 31. Are sinks accessible and used appropriately for the personal services provided?
      • The reprocessing sink (sink for cleaning and disinfecting) was also being used for handwashing. The sink was supplied with soap and paper towel and the owner said it was used for hand washing. Dedicate the sink for reprocessing only and use the washroom sink for hand washing.
