- - The operator did not have records of high-level disinfectant testing. Please ensure to document your testing of the CS 20 high-level disinfectant, following the manufacturer’s instructions, including the 14-day reuse period. Please ensure to have the appropriate test strips for monitoring purposes as well. A high-level disinfectant log sheet was provided.
- 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
- The following areas require cleaning:(X) Top of dryer. Observed significant debris. (X) Equipment and single-use items stored in carts showed dust and debris accumulation on storage surface in multiple units.
- 30. Is the reprocessing area of a personal service facility that uses reusable equipment properly designed, managed and maintained to ensure the safety of clients?
- - Mugs, plates, and cutlery were observed in the reprocessing sink. Reprocessing of personal services equipment must only be performed at the designated reprocessing sink. To minimize contamination risk, all other activities, such as food preparation, should be excluded from this area.
