- 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
- At the time of the inspection, the flow rate measured 280 GPM which resulted in a filtering rate of 19.8 GPM/sq.ft. This exceeded the expected operational parameters for the system. The flow was subsequently adjusted, and the flow meter then recorded a flow rate of 210 GPM resulting in a filtering rate of 14.8 GPM/sq.ft. This adjustment brought the system within the required filtering rate for effective circulation and filtration for a pool (splash park) built after November 2006.Continue monitoring the flow rate and filtering rate to ensure the system remains within the acceptable operating parameters.
