      • The water sample collected on Oct 8, 2024 had the following results: - Total Coliforms - Absent - Pseudomonas - ISOLATED - HPC - 100 CFU/mLThis is an unsatisfactory result.The whirlpool will need to be closed to the public immediately.Follow and preform all of the required steps from the Pseudomonas Response protocol.Once the Response protocols have been completed, the whirlpool water chemistry rebalances - you can re-open the whirlpool to the public ( as this is a first notification of pseudomonas contamination ).If the resample next week comes back with a notification of Pseudomonas contamination, that will be 2 consecutive unsatisfactory events which would result in the whirlpool closure until a satisfactory lab result is obtained.

      • Positive for Pseduomonas aeruginosa in the hot tub - discussed result with the operator of the hot tub and will need to move forward with the super chlorination of the hot tub, drain, scrub, refill, and then collect and submit another resample for upcoming Tuesday August 26, 2024.Our Department would encourage the operator to have the hot tub remain paused; however, following rebalancing of pool chemistry, you have authorization to reopen after this cleaning task has been completed.

      • The water sample collected on April 9, 2024 had the following results: - Total Coliforms - ABSENT - Pseudomonas - ISOLATED - HPC <10 CFU/mLThis is an unsatisfactory result.Note - operator received a copy of this result on April 12 ( Friday ) and had already gone through the Pseudomonas response protocol when PHI discussed the issue on April 15 ( Monday ).In fact the Free Chlorine was >10 ppm and the pH was <6.5.Therefore, once the pool water chemistry is rebalanced, the hot tub can re-open to the public and a resample can be taken on April 16th (Tuesday).

      • Currently there is an old pool permit displayed in the hot tub gazebo from 2014.This will need to be updated, since ownership changed a few years ago.
