      • Water sample collected on August 11, 2026, resulted in 200 HPC. The operator advised that adverse weather conditions occurred leading up to and including the day of sampling, which may have contributed to the result. The operator will collect a follow-up sample next week.
    • 10. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this pool (Non-Critical)?
      • The pool depth markings on the deck have faded and should be repainted prior to opening for the next operating season to ensure they remain clearly visible.It is recommended that the electrical switches in the mechanical room be clearly labeled to facilitate easy identification and operation.Please remind staff to exercise caution when storing equipment inside the mechanical room. During the inspection, a plastic tote containing life rings had been pushed against the white water lines. Care should be taken to avoid placing equipment against plumbing or other mechanical components to prevent potential damage.
    • 13. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Non-Critical)?
      • The contrasting line marking the transition from the shallow end to the deep end is significantly faded due to weathering and chemical exposure and is difficult to distinguish under normal outdoor lighting conditions. This is concerning because the faded transition marking reduces the visibility of the change in water depth and may make it more difficult for bathers to recognize the shallow-to-deep transition, increasing the potential for injury.Please restore the shallow-to-deep transition marking so that it provides a clearly visible contrasting line. If restoration is not feasible with the existing liner, ensure the transition marking is replaced with a more durable, highly contrasting colour (e.g., black) when the liner is replaced to improve visibility and resistance to UV and chlorine exposure. In the interim, it is recommended that the safety rope and float line marking the transition between the shallow and deep ends be installed, maintained, and clearly visible whenever the pool is open.

    • 10. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this pool (Non-Critical)?
      • Water was observed on the ground underneath the filters. Advised a gasket needs to be replaced and this will be completed before opening for next season (on order). Advised they are having pump issues (having to prime the pump regularly however it should be able to hold its prime throughout the day). Working to get this piece sorted out. Last, the flow meter is very difficult to read because it is so high in the air on the pipe rather than at eye level. Not sure if there is an easy fix for this or not.Chemical door observed unlocked (key observed in the door and the other door from pool deck was unlocked). As discussed, recommend a panic bar on the gate from the pool deck to eliminate the need to remember to lock the gate at the end of the day.
