   • 19. Is ultrasonic cleaning of reusable equipment being performed properly and when necessary?
     • An ultrasonic cleaner was not available at the time of inspection. The use of this device is required to ensure effective cleaning of crevices, gaps, and other difficult-to-access areas of tools and equipment.Install and maintain an ultrasonic cleaner to ensure the effective cleaning of tools and equipment. The ultrasonic cleaner must be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions to adequately remove debris and contaminants from areas that cannot be effectively cleaned by manual methods.
   • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
     • It was noted during the inspection that expired disinfectant CaviWipes were being used.Upon discussion with the operator, the expired disinfectant wipes were immediately removed from service and discarded.Ensure that only disinfectants within their expiry date are used. Implement a system to routinely monitor expiry dates and replace products as necessary to maintain effective disinfection and compliance with applicable health and safety requirements.
