- Immediately discard single use items after use into a waste receptacle.
- Operator shall ensure all sharps are single-use only and disposed of safely in a sharps container. (O.Reg. 136/18 (10)(6-8).
- Sharps containers must be located in close proximity to where the personal service is provided.

- All sharps must be disposed of in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act, its regulations and any other applicable law of Ontario.
