    • 03. Are facility-specific written procedures established to adequately describe safe and sanitary practices?
      • Facility specific written procedures were not completed. AHS templates for applicable written procedures were discussed onsite. Complete procedures for client care, skin cleansing, use of antiseptic, post care and decontamination of dual-purpose sink.
    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • 1-Paper towels were not provided at the hand sink located in the service room. Provide paper towels or single use microfiber towels to dry hands after hand washing.2- Hand sanitizer was passed its expiry date April 2023. Obtain hand sanitizer with valid expiry date.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • Sheets and blanket were noted on the spa bed that need to be laundered between clients or remove them and sanitize the non-porous, cleanable surface of the bed.
    • 31. Are sinks accessible and used appropriately for the personal services provided?
      • Hand washing and reprocessing of tools wlll be done in the sink located in the service room.Written procedure for decontamination of dual-purpose sink was reviewed during inspection. Complete procedure and send copy to the undersign.
