(ii) The bottle cap is not carefully and properly removed/"pinched" to avoid contaminating the sterile insides of both the cap and the bottle. (iii) The bottle is held near its mouth and not towards the bottom. (iv) The direction of the sweep facilitates contamination.Advised the operator to always collect samples directly from the basin.The aseptic sweep method for bacteriological water sampling is demonstrated, and the operator practiced same afterwards.
