- 12. Are personal services workers at the facility maintaining client records and where applicable, sterility documentation corresponding to that client?
- It was observed that bulk supply of sub-cutaneous needles were taken out of their packaging and stored in the drawer (The needle protective caps were intact).However in the absence of packaging it was hard to verify the lot number and sterility.Operator was asked to keep the lot number of sterile needles and include it in the client records.Operator confirmed that moving forward the lot number of (subcutaneous needles in bulk packaging) would be included in client records.Note: Other needles were individually packaged and sterility information was included in client records.
