Which regions report closures

We can only list a closure when the health authority’s published data marks it. Today that covers New York City, King County (WA), Southern Nevada and Florida; Toronto, Hamilton and Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge; and the other Ontario and British Columbia health units whose inspectors record a closure order in the report’s actions. Some authorities publish closures in a form we don’t capture yet, so an empty list for a region doesn’t mean nothing closed there.

A closure is a snapshot of one inspection. Most closed premises reopen once a re-inspection confirms the hazard was fixed — open a facility to see its later inspections. The authority’s own record is always the final word; our guide explains what a closure means.
