- F1.2 Are proper temperature controls maintained to ensure safe storage and display of foods?
- Observation(s): Observed recently placed butter out on counter at room temperature, staff was "softening" better for use. Remember to only have PHFs like this out for 2 hours maximum, if over 2 hours must be discarded as possible pathogen growth risk is higher. Corrected during inspection (CDI): • Operator was educated to keep a time log for products that use time as public health control or to keep refrigerated and use smaller portion sizes. • Operator used butter in smaller portions instead and to now monitor time at room temperature.
- F1.2B Potentially hazardous foods must be stored or displayed at a temperature of 4 °C (40 °F) or colder.

- Observation(s): [1] High temperature dishwasher was measured at 82°C at plate level, this is satisfactory at destroying harmful pathogens. Operator also had a plate thermometer for testing onsite and stated regular testing as part of cleaning schedule. Should be keeping a temperature log. [2] Observed no food contact surface sanitizer prepared onsite, operator was instructed to prepare solution. Additionally no testing strips available onsite. [3] New scoops are used for ice cream service, used scoops are washed and sanitized. Corrected During Inspection: [2] Operator had formulated a chlorine sanitizer, and this was measured at 200ppm. ****A sanitizer solution must be available at all times of operation and regularly checked with test strips to ensure adequate sanitizing concentrations. Not a lot of places to gas up and shop in 70 Mile House, so I was grateful to find the happy, helpful folks at this general store. Plenty of essentials on the shelves and a little food corner/deli as well. Washrooms were wonderfully clean. Good place to stop.
- Ronnie Fuentes
This is the best convenience store I've been to! It's clean and professionally run. They even sell alcohol.
- tim bob
Great store if you enjoy rotting vegetables on the shelf, price gouging on all items, and getting yelled at by the cashier guy. Top notch service! Do yourself a favor and drive to 100 mile , or Interlakes.

Great selection and good prices. Fresh food and baked goods available. Nice variety of affordable 70 mile souvenirs. Helpful, friendly, polite staff. Amazing customer service experience. $0.55 ice cream sandwiches perfect for the kids

The staff is friendly enough but it doesn't make up for price gauging, or them making up prices as they go or any of the other issues. I definitely wouldn't recommend shopping here. Drive the extra bit to town, it'll still be cheaper than shopping here and likely the same or better service.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The owners on the other hand are amazing. Very very kind people. During the 2017 wildfire have been helping to feed and support the workers and troops at the intersection. Even going so far as to …

Good selection across the board. Little deli in the back to custom make subs, pizza, sandwiches and lots of other goodies. Descent produce section as well. It's licensed, so that's a bonus too! Super friendly staff.

Unsure how anyone could give the 70 mile store less than 5 stars... Helpful, friendly, attentive staff, shelves stocked full of product and for how busy it can get in the summer the guys and gals at 70 mile handle themselves very …

This store doesn’t respect medical mask exemptions. The male who helped me was vey friendly and respectful. The female co-worker rudely voiced her opinion. Myself and my family have used this store for many years. We will no longer support a store that discriminates with this behavior.
- Pranjali Deshpande
Great place for all camping needs you might have forgotten to pack, on the way to green lake provincial park. Has gas, Deli, and all kinds of kids snacks too.
- Danny Gilbert
Busy travel day, stopped to fuel up. All pumps taken except one, so took it. Go inside to pay. Only to be told it hasn't been working all morning. No sign on the pump. Line up already for the other ones. Got back on the road and kept going.
- Michael Dyck
Been there before and bought what I needed. Last time was unimpressive. No air for tires that I could see and wanted to ask about ice but one staff was selling hunting tags which was fine, the other was walking around stocking shelves on her cell phone and not interested in talking to customers.

Not sure if it’s because we’re not from out of town but more likely because we are native but the cashier gave us the worst treatment I’ve received in many years. Death glares when we walked in and watched us constantly. Had a sour face …

Convenient store, open most days even new years day.. 10 -6! Not cheap, most things have higher prices than the big grocery stores, but they have a bit of everything from aspirin to pet food, milk dairy & meat! Also a little café in the back, eat in or take out. Great soup! Deli counter well stocked.
- Gregory Messner
Very disappointed after stopping here for years. $9.00 plus tax so $10 bucks for a 3 day old bun with ham.
- Elymer T Lounsbury
I was at this store and was treated like trash. i had work close on and was probably wearing my stained $85 hoody, i wasnt a homeless transient with no money. Disgusting place. Dirty too. So unprofessional. …

The man working was fast to get me out of the store. Went to get gas and snacks, the guy came to find me to pay for gas and move because there was a line meanwhile a trailer was parked there before we got there and was there when we left but was not asked to move. There was no manners used but rather I was not welcomed in the store!
- S LEE
I couldn't find the product I was looking for. I and my husband left the store with empty hands. The lady owner/manager at the front of the door gave us a look and said "Seriously?!" …
- M User
Prices seem a little extra high… beware if there isn’t a price on something and you bring it to the till… it might be a couple bucks higher than you would pay elsewhere!
- Aaron & Shelby Raphael

- Lee Lundy

Staff are friendly, and I'm glad they are open at 6am. Not open late tho, so if you need gas late at night the next options north are 100 mile house, or south in cashe creek (Clinton gas stations close early too)
