      • The quats dispenser onsite used to supply food grade sanitizer for meat processing surfaces is not being routinely monitored at a sufficient frequency. Verify the concentration of quats sanitizer using available test strips on a weekly basis.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The weatherstripping under one of the double doors at the side of the facility is damaged, creating a gap that could allow for the entry of pests into the building. Repair or replace weatherstripping.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The flooring of the walk-in freezer directly adjacent to the door on the South end of the unit is unfinished wood.Cover or finish surface to render it smooth and easily cleanable.

      • Concrete floor is pitted in several areas and finish has worn off. Ensure floor is smooth, impervious to moisture and easily cleanable.
