- At time of inspection:1. Live animals (cats) were noted within the convenience store. Be advised that live animals are not permitted in any commercial food facility.The owner / operator of this facility is requested to conduct the following, namely:1. Ensure cats are kept downstairs where food is not being stored.

- 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
- At time of inspection:1. An invalid food permit was noted in this facility.2. Some minor food handling appeared to be existing in this facility. Some cut cheese and meats were noted in the refrigeration device provided.3. Some foods noted for re-sale were from an Alberta-approved farmers market.This facility is not permitted to handle food as there is no hand wash sink provided in this area. The owner / operator of this facility is requested to conduct the following, namely:1. Once the new food permit is received, ensure it is posted in a location easily visible to all patrons.2. DO NOT handle food within this facility for public consumption. All permit conditions must be followed at all times.********THE OWNER / OPERATOR UNDERSTANDS AND WILL ONLY SELL PRE-PACKAGED FOODS ONLY.3. DO NOT sell foods that originate from an Alberta-approved farmers market unless they are whole fruits / vegetables (i.e. unprocessed).
