    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The pressure at two of the sink taps (one in the single washroom and the other at the first sink in the washroom past the kitchen entrance) was very low. Water temperature was below 45 C.Please ensure sufficient pressure is available to properly wash hands at the sinks.
    • 30. Are workers washing hands when appropriate and/or in a proper manner?
      • One staff indicated that hands are not washed both before and after glove use. Proper hand washing was reviewed during the inspection.

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Disinfectant was only at 50 ppm in containers. Operator adjusted the concentration. Please ensure the concentration is verified on test strips daily.The diapering area was stocked and bed has a secure belt. Hand wash sink is supplied. Gloves present and diapering procedures posted.
    • 11. Are parent provided foods being properly handled and stored to ensure the safety of clients in this social care facility?
      • Bottles of formula in the fridge were not labeled. Children's names were marked next to bottle description as a temporary measure. Please ensure bottles are being labeled for each child.
