    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Caterpillars Room-Small choking hazards were observed in the craft area (ex. pom poms, stickers, small toys). Small items like this should not be used by infants or toddlers as they are a choking hazard. Please remove.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Sunflowers Room-Baby Powder was observed in the diapering area. Please do not use baby powder as the small particles can irritate children’s lungs.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Sunflowers Room and Sunbeams 2 Room-The area under diapering mats had a build-up of debris. Please ensure that both the top and underneath mats are being cleaned and disinfected.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Butterflies 2 Room-An educator was observed closing the door to the washroom while diapering. As the washroom sink is the designated handwashing sink for this room the washroom door needs to stay open while diapering.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Whales Room -Soap dispenser push lever was stained with paint.
    • 28. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Critical)?
      • Sunflowers Room, Sunbeams Room 1, Fireflies Room-Items were being stored in the washroom (ex. craft supplies, toys, equipment) in these classrooms. Please do not store anything unnecessary in the washroom as they are at higher risk for contamination.
