    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Diaper change mat in Busy Bees is in disrepair. Please replace. 2. Diaper change areas and hard to reach areas (under mats and corners of classrooms) have a buildup of debris. Please clean areas on a regular basis (weekly).
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • Some toys are uncleanable (yellow doll house in Bears, wood/cloth beds in Village, cardboard boxes in Bunny room storing toys, tape on blocks in Ladybugs) or are visibly dirty (Butterfly, Busy Bees).
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • 1. Sunbeams room had a lot of clutter and personal items in the washroom. Please clear out the room. 2. Storage for bedding is touching the underside of the cots. Ensure that bedding is flat or store in their cubbies.3. Ladybugs room had a bin full of jackets and hats that were stored until the staff could return them to their cubbies. Do not store personal items together.

      • Bedding was stored on top of cots, or were touching adjacent cots. Please ensure that bedding and sheets are stored in a manner that prevents them from touching other childrens' belongings, including cots.
