- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Breakfast fridge in common area was at an ambient temperature of 7.0°C. The only potentially hazardous food in this fridge was milk being stored in the door compartment. The door compartment of a fridge is subject to (Public Health Significance) Refrigeration temperatures for potentially hazardous food must be less than 4°C to prevent the growth of disease causing bacteria and toxin production.
- Corrective Action: Operator voluntarily discarded the carton of milk as a precautionary measure. Adjust and have the fridge repaired as necessary to provide a temperature of 4°C at all times. Do not store potentially hazardous food items in this fridge until the fridge can maintain the appropriate temperature. Send a photo of the fridge thermometer to the Environmental Health officer proving that the unit is able to maintain 4°C or less.

- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Breakfast fridge in common area was lacking a thermometer. All refrigeration units require accuracte thermometers to facilitate temperature monitoring.
- Corrective Action: Operator had spare monitoring thermometers and placed one in the breakfast fridge.
