      • Verified during the inspection that the final sanitizing step for manual dishwashing at this facility is chlorine (e.g. - bleach). However, the test strips provided are for testing of pH and not for chlorine.Subsequently, ownership will discard these test strips and purchase the correct test strip papers for testing of chlorine. Owner will more than likely purchase these on-line.

    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • REFRIGERATION UNIT FOR THE STORAGE OF EGGS AND BUTTER:Observed no thermometer in this refrigeration unit - please purchase and locate in the warmest region (e.g. - near the door) to monitor proper temperature. At the time of inspection, the unit was measured with our infrared thermometer and was reading at 4 C which is in compliance.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Observed that the current posted food handling permit expired on April 30, 2023.Please post the valid 2023 - 2024 food handling permit (which the owner verified that they have) and should be enclosed in a glass frame and mounted on the wall of the facility.
