Sterile water is required when injecting ink into the body in order to reduce infections by using water that has been filter from potential bacteria's, fungi and viruses.Please ensure that sterile water is being used when mixing inks or washing the needle during the tattooing session.

- Operator was unable to provide written procedures for post service care at the time of inspection. Operator can provide a copy of post service care instructions via email or during the next re-inspection.

- Operator was using distilled water instead of sterile water to dilute inks. Operator stopped diluting inks with distilled water and will switch to sterile water.

- The contents of a puncture resistant container was observed to be over the max fill-line. Over-filled containers pose an increased risk for sharps exposure.Please ensure sharps containers are checked and when at capacity, properly disposed of.

- Operator was using 99% isopropyl alcohol to disinfect skin of clients. At higher concentrations, isopropyl alcohol evaporates before a desired contact time is reached.Please ensure alcohol-based antiseptics are between 60-90%.
