    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. A missing ceiling tile and stained ceiling tile were observed in the OSC washroom above the toilet.2. The wood portion of the wall-mounted shelving units in the kinder and OSC rooms were observed to be in disrepair and are no longer smooth and resistant to moisture. 1. Ensure the indicated ceiling tiles are repaired and/or replaced.2. Ensure the indicated shelves are removed or refinished or replaced with an alternative smooth and easy to clean surface.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • Several expired Benzalkonium chloride wipes were observed in the first aid kit. Ensure first aid kits are checked for inventory and that any expired products are replaced. The operator removed the expired product during the inspection.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1.The small brown leather play couch was observed to be in disrepair and is no longer smooth and easy to clean.2. The top surfaces of the white cabinet doors located beneath the handwashing sinks in the kinder and OSC rooms were observed to be in disrepair. 1. Ensure the indicated couch is removed, replaced or repaired.2. Ensure the indicated doors are refinished, removed or replaced to be smooth and easy to clean.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • In the kinder room, several personal sunscreens were observed to be stored in-contact with one another. Ensure personal items are stored separately to help prevent cross-contamination. The operator provided a system to store the personal items separately during the inspection.

      • - Spray bottles containing bleach solution for disinfection purpose were not labelled. Staff were advised to labelled the bottles to prevent accidental misuse. Labellieng of the spray bottles were performed shortly after.
