- 15. Is the facility free of a pest infestation?
- Several ants were observed on the dispensing spout end of the Sprite fountain pop machine and also on the floor in front of same machine.Moreover, there were several flies observed particularly in the dining room area of the facility.Subsequently, require the following to be completed:1) Discontinue the use of the fountain pop machine for the drive through - the other fountain pop machine for dining in patrons can continue to be used (since no ants were observed on this particular machine).2) Disassemble drive through fountain pop machine and thoroughly clean and sanitize the parts and the unit and also all areas around and under the fountain pop unit.3) Reach out to the Orkin Pest Control Technician to determine additional measures for ant control and elimination - in particular, need to determine the route of entry into the building. Once found, the route of entry will need to sealed.4) Repair/replace (as deemed necessary) the section of concrete in the front of the back door entrance - several large cracks were observed which potentially could allow more insects (such as ants) to gain entry into the premise.
