      • A few eggs in a tray were observed stored by the cooking line.Operator reiterated that they had been outside for a few minutes, temperature was checked and operator stored/put the eggs back in the cooler.Ensure the eggs are always stored below 7C.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • No pest control report was available for review.Ensure to have at least 3-4 months pest control reports on file for PHI review.

      • A few eggs observed stored outside the cooler.Ensure the eggs are always stored below 7C in the cooler. Operator put the eggs back into the cooler during the inspection.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Covers of a few light fixtures above the food prep area is missing. - Reinstall the light covers or use light tube sheaths to prevent food contamination in the event of the fixture breakage

      • The cold-water faucet was not working, operator told the PHI it was leaking.Ensure both hot/cold water is available for hand hygiene. Please repair the leak and fix the cold water faucet.

      • No permit on display.Ensure a valid food permit is displayed in a conspicuous location in the facility to be seen by the clients.
