      • Soap dispenser was empty at the hand washing sink in the kitchen.- Ensure to have soap in soap dispenser.

      • Scoops for bulk items were stored in the containers, with handles touching the product. Operator removed scoops and placed them for dishwashing.- Ensure to use scoops with handles and store them away from the food product.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • At the back hand sink, colander/strainer was placed in the basin blocking access to the hand sink. Operator moved the colander during the inspection.- Ensure hand sink is unobstructed and easily accessible at all times for staff use.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Kitchen back door had visible gaps as some light can be seen coming through cracks at the bottom. - Replace weather stripping or eliminate gaps at back door to prevent potential pest entry.

      • There was no paper towel dispenser in the staff washroom. Operators said one was on the way and would be installed soon - please send a photo once this has been installed.
    • 18. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Non-Critical)?
      • There is some damage to the glass of the front door and a small hole that could allow pest entry is near the bottom. Operator stated that landlord had been notified - please send a photo once the glass has been replaced.
