Inspection summary

BarBurrito has been inspected 6 times by Fraser Health Authority since January 18, 2024. The most recent inspection, on July 10, 2026, recorded 1 infraction.

3 of 6 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there were 2 inspections with 2 infractions recorded. All recorded findings relate to upkeep, equipment or paperwork rather than direct food-handling risks.

Recent inspections have recorded more infractions than earlier ones, so it is worth reading the latest reports closely.

What these findings mean

Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.

  • Building, plumbing and upkeepLower risk

Floors, walls and ceilings must be smooth and clean, with working lighting, ventilation, plumbing, hot and cold water, and washrooms. These are rarely an immediate food-safety risk on their own, but persistent problems can lead to pest or sanitation issues.

Recorded 2 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on January 6, 2026. For example: 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]

  • Equipment and utensilsLower risk

Equipment has to be built from cleanable materials, kept in good repair and stored properly. These findings are mostly about upkeep, like a cracked shelf, a worn gasket or utensils stored the wrong way. They are generally lower risk but show how well the kitchen is maintained.

    Recorded once on July 10, 2026. For example: 303 - Equipment/facilities/hot & cold water for sanitary maintenance not adequate [s. 17(3); s. 4(1)(f)]

    1 infraction

    • 303 - Equipment/facilities/hot & cold water for sanitary maintenance not adequate [s. 17(3); s. 4(1)(f)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sanitizer in sani-buckets and at sink auto feed measured less than 100 ppm quats. Concentrate bag observed very close to empty and may have been restricted. Operator changed bag and sanibuckets and measured out at 200 ppm. This will compromise sanitizing processes including dishes and hard surfaces.
      • Corrective Action(s): Make sure staff change the concentrate bag when empty. Also, when the bag is close to empty staff should verify sanitizer is at proper concentration for use. Test strips available.
