    • Work and contact surfaces smooth, non-absorbent and easily cleanable
      • Fail to provide fixture and/or furniture in good repair, easily cleanable, smooth and/or impermeable. Operator/PSW must provide fixture and/or furniture in good repair, easily cleanable, smooth and/or impermeable.
    • For invasive services an explanation of the procedure, associated risks and appropriate aftercare are provided to clients
      • For electrolysis and laser hair removal, aftercare instructions may include, but are not limited to: Direction to clean hands immediately before touching the site; expected healing time of the site; a description of possible complications and their signs and symptoms; advice on how to deal with slight redness, pain or swelling; a recommendation to consult with a physician within 24 hours if any signs of infection develop following the procedure; ointment or astringent may be applied to soothe the skin.

      • Fail to routinely clean premises and/or work area (e.g. cupboards, shelving, sinks, chairs, work stations) daily at a minimum and when visibly soiled.
