- 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
- Please provide a separate, cleanable holder/receptacle for clean and dirty hand towels for drying hands. Please also provide a dispenser for the toilet paper.
- 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
- Lysol wipe is used as the cleaning step for the reusable tweezers. Please scrub instruments with soap and water, rinse, dry and then place into the CS20 for disinfection.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- The container used for submerging the tweezers into the CS20 is not tall enough and would use at least half the bottle each time. Operator obtained a more suitable tray for disinfection.
