      • The diapering change pad near the girls washroom is missing a safety belt and the pad is damaged with exposed foam where the belt was previously attached.ACTION:-Repair or replace the change pad so that it is easy to clean and in good repair.-Ensure that all diapering stations are equipped with safety belts.

      • The bleach solutions in spray bottles throughout the facility measured at 800ppm of chlorine.**Ensure bleach solutions are maintained at 1000ppm as required during outbreaks.-The operation mixed bleach solutions to 1000ppm during the inspection.

      • Thumbtacks were observed on a cork board in the infant room. **Please have the thumbtacks removed.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • A couch with ripped upholstery was observed in the toddler room.**Please have the upholstery repaired to ensure that it is cleanable.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • The procedure for toy washing was inadequate. Staff on site indicated toys are only soaked in bleach solution.**Ensure the toys are washed with soap, rinsed and then soaked in sanitizer.-The toy washing procedure was reiterated with staff during the inspection.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Clients' personal items such as coats and jackets were observed to be in contact while under storage.**Ensure each clients' personal items are stored in a manner that allows for adequate/distinct separation from others.
