- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1) Coffee steaming attachment is wiped with a cloth after each use and no sanitizing step is carried out. Sanitizer spray bottle had difficulty spraying solution and the solution in the nozzle had no detectable chlorine. This is a continuing violation.
- 2) Staff member stated the blenders are sanitized at the end of the night and not throughout the day. This is a continuing violation.
- Corrective Action(s): 1) Coffee steaming attachment must be sanitized after each use to prevent the growth of pathogens and contamination of foods.
- 2) Blender must be sanitized at least every 2 hours to prevent the growth of pathogens. Ensure sanitizer is prepared in the 3-compartment to facilitate staff sanitizing the blender after each use or within 2 hours, if used. Staff prepared 200ppm bleach sanitizer at the time of inspection to sanitize the blender container after each use.
