      • -ice cream dipper well was not running water

      • -bar area soda wand was found to have mildew growth in the spout area
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure that ice cream dipper well and in use utensils are always in running water or ice water.
      • Ensure that the soda wand tip is cleaned and sanitized on a more frequent basis.

      • Observation: Paper towel and paper towel dispenser missing at the bar.

      • Observation: OUTSTANDING: Floor tile grout missing in areas throughout the kitchen. This is leading to food and debris build up between the tiles. Some grout has been laid in front of the deep fryer and in front of the dishwasher as discussed previously in consult inspection on June 2025.
      • Corrective Action(s): Finish replacing the grout in the walkway from the ice machine to the clean dish area (dough machine) and from the deep fryer to the ice machine. All other grouting is exempt from replacement until renovation requirement from head office.
      • Correction order still in effect

      • Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the area using a 100 ppm chlorine bleach solution. Do this on a daily basis to limit fruit fly activity.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): REPEAT OBSERVATION: Low temperature dishwasher in the kitchen measured 0 ppm chlorine at the dish surface. Chlorine sanitizer bucket was empty
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff replaced the bucket and primed the machine. Ensure that sanitizer concentration is tested daily and buckets are replaced immediately when empty

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sanitizer solution not available in the kitchen at the time of inspection. Operator refilled bottles, dispenser was tested to be at 200 ppm QUATS
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure that surface sanitizer is kept in the food contact/service areas at all times of operation. Staff must use sanitizer solution when surfaces are soiled and also between tasks.

      • Observation: Garnish tray was stored in bar's ice well.
      • Corrective Action(s): Reminder to treat ice for drinks the same as food. Do not store equipment in the ice well unless the ice is meant only for cooling and not for drinks.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Low temperature dishwasher measured 0 ppm chlorine at the time of inspection. Ran several cycles but still produced 0 ppm chlorine at the dish surface
      • Corrective Action(s): Technician called at the time of inspection. Machine was able to sanitize dishware at 100 ppm chlorine by the end of the inspection.
      • ENSURE that the sanitizer concentration is tested twice daily and recorded. Managers must audit records.

      • 401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2 issues:
      • -walk-in cooler area handsink did not have paper towels
      • -dishwashing area handsink did not have liquid soap
      • Corrective Action(s): Restocked by assistant manager.
      • Ensure that all handsinks are stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and hot/cold running water at all times.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2 issues;
      • -raw burger patties stored directly on undercounter freezer shelf. patties had thawed due to the freezer being -1C and was molded onto the wire shelf
      • -ice scoop stored in ice well at the server station
      • Corrective Action(s): Burger patty was discarded and shelf cleaned. Ice scoop was also washed. Do not keep ice scoops in the ice well
