      • **The hot water temperature at all 4 sinks in the 2 washrooms exceeded 60C.The maximum hot water temperature is supposed to be less than 54C, with a recommended maximum hot water temperature of 49C. The hot water temperature at the sinks was again still too hot.

      • **The hot water temperature at all 4 sinks in the 2 washrooms exceeded 60C.
    • 26. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Critical)?
      • Excessive amounts of mouse droppings observed throughout the daycare facility. Droppings seen in the playrooms, in the kitchen, in the mop sink area, in the toy storage room. Mouse dropping observed IN on of the cribs, and ON some of the toys.This is unacceptable. Each day the rooms are to be checked for mouse droppings, and EACH day any and all droppings are to be cleaned up with a bleach solution.

      • The toy storage room is creating a nuisance. The room is not lit, items are in disarray, and the room is full of mouse droppings. The items in this room need to be organized, cleaned, and discarded if they are broken or damaged.

      • Room 6 - secure the cubbies to the wall to prevent tipping.Room 7 - secure black shelf to prevent from tipping.

      • Bedding for children is being stored in one cupboard area. Please ensure each child's bedding has adequate separation from another's and is protected from potential contamination.

      • Chlorine test papers were not available.Please ensure chlorine test papers are available for monitoring sanitizer concentrations.

      • Diapering was being performed on the floor outside the classroom. The change pad was being stored in the storage room between the classrooms. The designated diapering area on the program application is located in the bathroom where the fold down change table is located. Please ensure that diapering remains in this designated area near a hand sink.

      • Light covers were missing in the infant/toddler room and preschool/osc room. Please ensure covers are provided.

      • The black shelving unit in the preschool/OSC room was >4ft and was not secure to the wall. The structure was a tipping hazard. The shelving unit beside it was also not secured to the wall. If shelving cannot be secured to the wall, lower, wider shelving units/cupboards are recommended.

      • The potty seat in the bathroom was visibly dirty. Please ensure the potty seat is cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis or when visibly soiled.

      • Linens/bedding were not observed to be labelled. Please ensure cots, linens and blankets are labelled with the child's name accordingly.

      • Hand hygiene was not performed before or after eating. Hand hygiene should be performed before eating or touching food, after going to the toilet, after blowing or wiping a nose, after sneezing or coughing, after playing outdoors.

      • The temperature throughout the program was monitored at 14.7C.
