- 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
- Observed a cloth towel on the rack on the wall in front of the 3-compartment sinks in the kitchen facility.Our Department would encourage a mounted on the wall liquid soap and paper towel dispensers and would recommend installing on the wall where the cloth towel rack is located.
- 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
- 1) Ladies washroom (far right one): observed that the water out of the sink tap dribbles out and subsequently the screen/aerator should be replaced to see if that would result in an increase of water flow.2) Ladies washroom (far left one): observed no ceiling exhaust fan in this particular washroom. There is an exhaust fan for the ladies washroom on the far right). Please install an exhaust fan to provide mechanical ventilation.
