    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • - The QUATs sanitizer tested measured above 400 ppm. Please ensure the sanitizer bottle is labelled and measures at 200ppm for adequate sanitization.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • - The facility does not have the required testing strips for the sanitizer. Please ensure quaternary ammonium compounds (QUATs) test strips are acquired to measure and monitor the effective concentration.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • - In the dining area, the sink faucet is loose at the base. Please ensure the faucet is securely fastened to prevent further damage and possible water leakage.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • - The walk in cooler and walk in freezer are currently not in good working order as mentioned by the operator. According to the operator, the facility is in the process of fixing the non-functional equipment. Please ensure the walk-in cooler and freezer are required to allow for easy access to adequate food storage.

    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Chlorine based sanitizer was available for surface sanitization.However, the chlorine solution was too concentrated (test strips can measure up to 200ppm).Test strips available were for Quatz based sanitizer.Discussed the use of required chlorine test strips for testing of chlorine-based sanitizer.Make sure to maintain the concentration of chlorine solution at 100ppm.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Facility manager mentioned that facility do their own pest control however pest control records were not observed during the inspection.AHS approved Pest control checklist would be provided for reference.Kindly complete the checklist on monthly basis and maintain the records.
