      • Observation: Permit was not posted conspicuously.
      • Corrective Action: Operator to ensure the permit is posted conspicuously.
    • 301 - Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
      • Observation: The turntable inside the microwave was in unsanitary condition. Public health significance: unsanitary surface may cross-contaminate the food, and consumers may fall sick upon consuming the food.
      • Corrective Action: Operator to ensure that the microwave is cleaned and sanitized.
    • 315 - Refrigeration units and hot holding equipment lack accurate thermometers [s. 19(2)]
      • Observation: Thermometer was not placed inside the refrigerator and freezer. Public health significance: fridge and refrigerator must be monitored to ensure the food is stored at the appropriate temperature i.e 4 °C or below.
      • Corrective Action: An accurate thermometer must be placed inside the fridge at the hottest part of the fridge to monitor the internal temperature of the fridge.
