      • On Observation:- A gap at the base of the entrance door was observed- Operator reported that the school had scheduled the installation of a new doorCorrections:- Repair, replace or install weatherstripping to the front entrance door in a manner that maintains a water- resistant barrier.- Previously cited violations were observed to have been corrected

      • A request by the operator to replace the children washroom tiles was received by the PHI. Request was approved by the PHI as operator provided alternative measures to ensure that the children have access to functional bathroom.Temporary measure:Children will be using two washrooms (one by the hallway and one in the staff room).

      • The infant area diapering table was observed to have old debris around the changing mat at the time of the risk management inspection.Previously cited violation:The infant area diapering table was observed to have old debris around the changing mat.The infant area diapering table mat was observed to have wet paint aprons stacked on its surface with paint present on the diapering table.Correction:- Clean and sanitize the diapering table in the infant care area- Utilize designated laundry bins for soiled clothing materials that do not overlap with the diapering area

      • Inspection was conducted in response to reported snow-melt flooding in the care area.On Observation:- A gap at the base of the entrance door was observed- Bags, boxes, buckets and bins in contact with the ground in the main storage room were wet.- Water was observed in the small gap tile under neath the infant care area counter countertops- Evidence of moisture was observed in the office area underneath a desktop computer located underneath the main deskCorrections:- Repair, replace or install weatherstripping to the front entrance door in a manner that maintains a water- resistant barrier.- Remove goods from the storage area, dry, clean and sanitize all areas where water is present. Consult with a professional flood remediation company for guidance.

      • Bedding mats covered with the client's sheets were stacked on top of one another during the inspection.Each child’s bed linens are to be stored separate from each other, so that they don’t touch, and are protected from getting contaminated. Sheets must be removed from bed mats and stored in a sanitary manner before the mats can be stacked.
