- Observation: Sandwich cooler measure 6.5C ambient temperature lower compartment, 8.5C at insert level. Cooler consistently opened and closed. Logs show cooler at 4C and below this morning (Staff measure using IR gun).
- Due to frequent rotation of food and temperatures not excessively over 4C with logs showing cooler can reach 4C, risk is not high.
- Corrective Action(s): Please monitor cooler and call in a technician to service cooler.
- Cooler should be able to decrease temperatures in a short period of time.
- Do not store potentially hazardous foods for extended periods of time (6hours or more) if cooler cannot drop back down to 4C and below.
