- Two used nail files were observed onsite. Informed operator that files are single use only and cannot be stored for repeat use.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- High level disinfectant was measured and acceptable when tested in the hard plastic equipment immersion tray, but informed that high level disinfectant bottle had been used up. No test strips were also available onsite as operator stated solution is changed and replaced on a routine frequency. Informed operator to ensure new bottle is ordered and available.
