    • 15. Is the facility free of a pest infestation?
      • Fresh mouse droppings observed in the front store area storing prepackaged candy, and on the floor along the walls in the back storage room.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Most holes requested by the PHIs have been sealed. One hole (near the ceiling) still needs to be sealed.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Storing hard ice cream scoops in sitting water. Proper manual dishwashing procedures were discussed.
