      • Observation: There is a coffee kiosk set up in the main entrance area with an espresso machine. The plumbing isn't hooked up and approval has not been obtained for the kiosk. An Operating Permit is required for the coffee station/kiosk (serving lattes, americanos, etc counts as food service).
      • Corrective Action(s): The approval to operate the kitchen does not extend beyond the kitchen itself. For coffee service at the front entrance, you require a permit (which is not required for the kitchen due to the nature of the use). The coffee machine has to be plumbed in and be set up right beside a handsink. There is also a permit fee of $150 per fiscal year. There has to be a staff member present with a valid Foodsafe Level 1 certification at all times. You also need to submit Food Safety and Sanitation Procedures.       • Observation: A few mice droppings observed: in the corner of the dry storage room, along shelving by the grill, beside storage tote and along shelving across from the dishwasher.
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean up the droppings using bleach solution.

      • Observation: There's a gap along the weather stripping under the kitchen entrance door on one end.
      • Corrective Action(s): Reseal this area.

      • Observation: Mice droppings observed on several shelves in the kitchen and in the pantry.
      • Corrective Action(s): Abell is on contract. Get them to service the kitchen every 2 weeks until no rodents are caught in the traps. Clean all the droppings on the shelves using a bleach solution. As discussed, rewash all cutlery, plates, cups, glasses and other utensils, and store them in bins with lids once they've been washed. Store all foods in rodent proof bins. Sanitize countertops before food prep.
