      • Multiple single-use bowls were used as scoops for bulk dry goods and spices. Ensure that staff are using reusable scoops that have a handle to transport these items from bulk containers.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Single door cooler labelled "Sweets" located by the front register did not have a thermometer to measure the ambient temperature of the unit. Ensure that a thermometer or satisfactory temperature measuring device is available to measure the ambient temperature of all cold holding unit.

      • Monthly pest inspection reports were not available onsite or sent to inspector within 48 hours for review. Ensure that a monthly pest inspection is completed and that records are available for review.

      • The door seals on the leftmost 3-door prep cooler are in disrepair. The seals are unable to maintain a tight seal when the doors are fully closed. Ensure the seals are repaired or replaced.

      • Smaller, individual servings of Baklava were not labelled when stored in for-sale display containers. Ensure that all foods follow the guidelines if the Food and Drugs Act and Regulation, and the Consumer Packaging and Labeling Act and Regulations. In general, the labels should have the item name, origin, ingredients and size/weight/volume.

      • The cover of the soap dispenser by the rear handwash station is missing. Ensure that it is repaired so staff can access soap for handwashing hygieneically.
