      • The ice machine had visible mold buildup, and the microwave contained food stains and debris.*Clean and sanitize both the ice machine and the microwave are thoroughly.*Add the microwave to your weekly cleaning schedule and the ice machine to your monthly cleaning schedule to prevent recurrence.

      • A few new fresh droppings noted behind the chest freezer. Owner committed to putting traps in this area.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Drywall debris is littering the basement floor and stairway following repair on the basement wall. Sweep up debris and shop vacuum the remainder. Plan is to eventually move the freezers in the storage room upstairs. Organizing of food storage space upstairs is in progress.

      • Beer cooler containing milk and some perishable juices was operating at 8 to 9 degrees Celsius. Compressor was recently fixed. Temperature will be adjusted.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Evidence of mouse droppings found behind chest freezers in upstairs storage room. Use hantavirus precautions to clean up droppings, sanitize and apply pest control.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Drywall debris is littering the basement floor and stairway following repair on the basement wall. Sweep up debris and shop vacuum the remainder. Plan is to eventually move the freezers in the storage room upstairs. Please work on organizing food and food supply storage spaces to ensure good organization to facilitate cleaning and good visibility for pest control.
