- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Glasswasher initially dispensing 0ppm chlorine in final rinse due to sanitizer container being empty. Once container was switched out and glasswasher primed a residual of approx 60ppm chlorine was measured in the final rinse
- Corrective Action(s): Rewash glassware that was put through today.
- Have staff visually check the level of sanitizer remaining daily and swich out with a new container when near the bottom ie 3 to 4 cm from the bottom. Pour the contants into the new sanitizer container as it draws down.
- Ensure all bar staff are trained on how to use the chlorine test strips.
- Have glasswasher technician increase the concentration to approx 75ppm
- Ensure staff are checking both the concentration of chlorine in the final rinse as well as the amount of soap and sanitizer remaing in the containers before the bar opens.
