- 17. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Critical)?
- In the men's washroom, the hand washing sinks have touchless faucets with motion sensors, where the users cannot adjust the temperature of the water. A probe thermometer was used to measure the temperature of the water at the hand washing sink closest to the paper towel dispenser. The thermometer reached 51C before the inspector could no longer continue using the sink due to its high temperature. As there is a concern that this may cause scalding for the users, please ensure that all the hand washing sinks are set at a temperature that allows safe hand washing.
