      • Observation: Products such as bottled beverages observed storing on ground, by entrance (near skytrain) and in walk-in cooler.
      • Corrective Action(s): Products must be stored at least 6 inche above ground.

      • Observation: Wall near self serve coffee area has been cut, with a big hole open and pipes inside exposed.
      • Corrective Action(s): Fill or close hole to prevent pests from entering the facility, or harbourage of pests.

    • 302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 0ppm noted in sanitizer spray bottle at food preparation area. Staff indicated that was the last bottle and a new shipment is coming next week. Staff claimed perhaps other staff had added water in sanitizer spray bottle causing 0ppm Quats to be detected. Facility is operating without sanitizer in food preparation area. Manager on the phone indicated head office requires separate sanitizer products - one product for preparation area, another product for dishwashing purposes.
      • Corrective Action(s): Sanitizer must be available at all times during food operation. NO SANITIZER, NO OPERATION.
      • In the meantime, staff will be using sanitizer used for dishwashing at the front food preparation area. At least 200ppm Quats is detected in newly prepared spray bottle.

      • Observation: Beverages observed to be stored on ground (ie. behind pop storage racks at the back; by back storage room entrance, in walk-in cooler).
      • Corrective Action(s): Prodcuts must be stored at least 6 inches above ground to facilitate cleaning and for pest monitoring.

      • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: 1. Undercounter 2-door cooler is warm, at 6.2oC. No food in cooler observed. It is indicated in last routine inspection in February 2025 that an order was placed to repair 2-door cooler.
      • 2. Undercounter 1-door cooler (hidden) is too warm, at 44oC. No food in cooler observed.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1. Undercounter 2-door cooler must be in good working order. A new cooler should be considered since it appers to break down too often.
      • 2. All equipment must be in good working order. Cooler must be able to maintain temperature at 4oC or less at all times.

      • Observation: Kitchen undercounter 2-door cooler was warm at time of visit, as staff indicated temperature was not holding the last couple days. Temperature towards end of visit is at 4.0oC. Manager has submitted a complaint to head office for check.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure cooler temperature is maintain at 4.0oC or less at all times. If temperature is over 4oC, move potentially hazardous foods to another cooler.

      • Observation: Although most products observed storing above ground, there are still some products stored on ground (ie. towards back room; behind pillar at the front, etc.)
      • Corrective Action(s): Continue to store products (food and non-food) above ground.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No paper towel in dispenser at handwashing sink at pizza prep area. Lone staff indicated paper towel has just been emptied. No paper towel near handwashing station observed.
      • Corrective Action(s): Handwashing stations must be stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid handsoap and paper towel at ALL times. Liquid handsoap and paper towel must be replenished immediately if dispenser is empty.
      • Staff replenished paper towel at time of visit.
      • Violation Score: 5

      • Observation: Many bottled beverages are still stored on the ground.
