- 6(a) A person must submit an application for a permit to the Administrator in a form prescribed by the Administrator and the application must include all of the following:
(a) the applicable fee prescribed in Section 5;
- Food preparation meeting the requirements for an Eating Establishment permit. Please submit an application, and the applicable fee, for an Eating Establishment permit. Renewal of current Food Shop permit will not be required.

- In accordance with Section 2.9 of the NS Food Retail and Food Services Code, you must: supply adequate shelving in order that all materials may be stored off the floor; ensure shelving in food storage areas is constructed of materials which are durable and easily cleanable. Shelving within meat room refrigeration requires refinishing or replacing.

- 29(2)(a) A maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program must include procedures to ensure that all of the following are done:
(a) the food establishment and equipment are maintained, cleaned and sanitized;
- Backsplash behind the cutting board countertop, in the meat room, to be replaced in order to provide a smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable surface.
- 33(1) An operator must ensure that the temperature of food is controlled so that the food does not deteriorate or become inedible or unsafe.
