      • Some mouse droppings were observed in the cabinets under the kitchen sinks. Mouse droppings must be properly cleaned up and the affected areas must be disinfected as well. Some mouse traps should be placed in there as well.

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Mouse droppings were observed in all the cabinets under the countertops. Entry points for mice must be identified and removed. Mouse droppings must be properly cleaned up and affected areas must be disinfected as well. Written procedures for mouse dropping clean-up were provided to the operator during inspection. In addition, all the foods being stored close to the affected areas must be checked and they must be disposed of if evidence of mouse infestation is observed on them.

      • Lots of bottled water were observed being stored on the floor in the back areas of the store and lots of beverages were observed being stored on the floor in the walk-in cooler as well. Ensure that foods be stored 6'' above the floor to ease the floor cleaning.
