      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Domestic cooler (Fridge A) is measured to to 5.7oC to 8.8oC (air temperature). Thermometer in cooler indicated tempearture of 8oC. Temperaure log consistently indicated temperature of 5oC.
      • Corrective Action(s): Temperature MUST be kept at 4oC or less at all times. Cooler has mostly whole fruits and vegetables - no concern. Discarded products in cooler that must be refrigerated after opening.

      • Corrective Action(s): Facility uses two different types of paper towel. Ensure paper towel is always present at handwashing station, regardlessn of types. Staff has put paper towel in dispenser at time of visit.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach sanitizer in kitchen is too strong, way over 200ppm.
      • Corrective Action(s): Reduce sanitizer concentration to 100ppm chlorine only, that is 1/4 teaspoon bleach / 500mL water. Solution in sanitizer changed during visit and concentration is now just over 100ppm.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Standup cooler in laundry room has air temperature of 8.1C.
      • Corrective Action(s): Service this cooler immediately or consider replacing the entire unit. All coolers on site must be capable of maintaing an air temperature of 4C or colder at all times.
      • Discussed with staff on site, until service or replacement of this cooler, do not store perishable food items inside. This includes fruits and vegetables that have been processed (eg. chopped greeans, cut vegetables). Only WHOLE and UNCUT fruits and vegetables may be stored in this cooler.
      • Update the undersigned with timeline of service or replacement no later than September 6, 2022. Once timeline is completed, contact FHA for follow-up inspection immediately.

Do not store any processed food items such as cut vegetables or other potentially hazardous foods in this cooler until it has been serviced and follow-up inspection by FHA has taken place.

      • Corrective Action(s): - Alterations to a food premises must not be made unless the plans and specifications have been approved by a health officer. The change from a two compartment sink to a one compartment sink is not acceptable and needs to be addressed as per code 303.
