    • 06. Are appropriate food handling practices and plans in place to ensure that food is handled in a manner that makes it safe to eat?
      • Bar fridge's are provided inside client rooms for food storage. Ensure temperature logs are kept for these fridges as well. Especially when the room is occupied by a client.

      • A digital probe thermometer was available but was working.Ensure a functional probe thermometer is on site to verify food safety temperatures.

      • Temperature of fridge was 7 Deg C. Temperature was adjusted during inspection. Staff are also not recording temperature properly. Ensure cooler temperature is at 4 Deg C or colder. Ensure staff record the actual reading from the thermometer inside the fridge.

      • Bar fridge's are provided inside client rooms for food storage. Fridge's are not equipped with a thermometer.Ensure bar fridges are equipped with a thermometer to monitor temperature.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Automatic battery operated liquid soap dispensers are provided at the hand washing sink in the kitchen. They were not functional during inspection. These were replaced with pump style liquid soap dispensers.Ensure liquid soap and single use paper towels are provided in suitable & functioning dispensers at the hand washing sinks.

      • Pest control monitoring records are not kept.Implement pest control monitoring program and keep monthly records. AHS pest control monitoring checklist was provided.
