- Observation: Operator indicates the bay door is left open sometimes especially during summer hotter months.
- Some foods in Walk-in cooler and goods in the general area stored directly on the floor
- Corrective Action(s): Keep the bay door closed except when transporting goods. If you need more ventilation install a screen door at back main door
- Keep foods off the Walk-in cooler floor minimally on skids so they are easy to transport with the pallet jack
- Keep goods off the floor at least >15cm (such as the use of risers or multi-level shelves) to ease general cleaning underneath and monitoring of pests

- Note: Operator had building permit issued from City of Burnaby onsite for addition of walk-in cooler
- 2) Operator has sublet half of premises to another business without approval. Business is now only operating from back of premises (where bay door is located).
- Corrective Action(s): - Submit updated floor plan to reflect changes. [Completed at time of the inspection]
