      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Raw eggs were stored on the top shelf of the cooler unit containing eggs, dairy, and other food product.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff had reorganized the cooler unit such that the raw eggs were stored on the bottom unit

      • Observation: 1) Observed <10 rodent droppings on the dry storage shelving along the north side wall. Droppings appeared to be old. Food product is prepackaged and in large plastic containers. Food product does not appear to be compromised.
      • 2) 10+ rodent droppings observed on the sticky traps underneath the 2 compartment sink
      • Corrective Action(s): - Ensure that the above mentioned areas adequately cleaned and sanitized
      • - Use a bleach solution (100 ppm = 2ml unscented 5% bleach with 1 litre water) to thoroughly soak rodent dropping and the affected surfaces.
      • - Allow solution to sit for 10-15 minutes
      • - Pick up soaked droppings with paper towel. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Do not vacuum the droppings.
      • - Replace sticky traps underneath the 2 compartment sink
      • Correction date: Immediately

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed a sale of hot potentially hazardous foods. The facility is approved to process rinsing and packaging whole vegetables from a supplier only. Onsite manager removed all potentially hazardous foods from sale.

      • Observation: Observed the following:
      • 1. Water dripping from the walk in cooler drain on to the floor.
      • 2. Large amount of rodent droppings in between walk in cooler and south wall.
      • 3. Merchandises stored on the floors of each aisles of the store.
      • Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize water and rodent droppings on the floor. Relocate merchandises to provide >15cm from the floor.

      • Observation: Cleaning in progress. Rodent droppings and nesting materials noted throughout the facility. New areas of concerns noted as clutter are removed.
      • Corrective Action(s): The following new areas of concern to be cleaned and sanitized:
      • - nesting material next to a staff locker
      • - rodent droppings under the 2 compartment sink
      • - wall to floor junction in the walk in cooler
      • Existing areas to be cleaned and sanitized as per last inspection report (JGUU-CC3TAP)

      • Observation: After some clutter removed, it revealed few areas with potential pest entry points that requires attention. Holes by the wall to floor junctions, openings under the 2 compartment sink (holes on the wall and opening gap between a wall and a plumbing pipe), etc.
      • Corrective Action(s): Work with your pest control company to block any pest entry points. Items that are causing clutter are to be removed (e.g., pile of items in between the walk in cooler wall and adjacent wall, metal rails, etc.)

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Carton of eggs in the walk-in cooler measured at an internal temperature of 10C. Walk-in cooler measured at an air ambient temperature of 7C.
      • Corrective Action(s): Discard the aforementioned items. All potentially hazardous foods (e.g.: eggs) must be stored in a cooling unit that is capable of holding an air ambient temperature of at least 4C or lower. All potentially hazardous foods must be measured at an internal temperature of 4C or lower.

      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure handwashing station is clear for any obstructions. Handwashing station must be well equipped with hot and cold running water, paper towels, and liquid soap to facilitate proper handwashing. Corrected by: July 5, 2021
